Our impact funds stand for two things: maximum societal impact and a fair financial return. As fund managers, we search for companies whose product or service provides a strong response to a social or environmental challenge. We look for enterprises with a strong social mission and a profit model that allows them to create impact for a prolonged time.

We offer tailored financing and professional coaching to allow both business and impact to grow. We specialize in structuring deals, crafting due diligence, business modelling, creating team assessments and impact measurement and management. Our investors can follow the trajectory and growth of the portfolio companies through reports, updates, and our Sharing the Passion events.

5 investment steps

Business plan review

Business Plan Review – We are looking for a clear Theory of Change that solves a vital societal or environmental issue. The impact must be substantial, measurable and integrated into the business model. We check if the model is commercially viable, and whether there is Proof of Concept and Proof of Market. The experience of the management team is also an important criterion.

Deal making

We want to be sure both impact and business can grow. Therefore, we offer investment terms that suit both purposes. We mostly work with equity and in some cases with a (convertible) loan.

Due diligence

Now we are diving deeper into the company to understand every detail of the business, the team, customers, and competition. This step allows us to see if there is indeed a good match or if there are adjustments that still need to be made in the deal.

Sign the deal and go!

We deploy the funds and offer hands-on support and guidance in order for the company to reach its goals. Our impact management specialists help entrepreneurs map their impact and strengthen their strategy to generate maximum results. If a specific challenge requires extra help, we can link the company to a wide network of experts.

Exit

When it’s time, we look into our options together with the entrepreneur to determine the best way to exit the company.
