THE ROLE
During your internship, we will make sure you get familiar with the basics of investment processes, impact measuring, impact monitoring and portfolio management, as well as an introduction to the impact scene in the Benelux. In return, you will assist us in the day-to-day management of our funds and will provide support across a wide range of investment-related work. For the most part, the role will involve our three active impact funds, however, assisting with consultancy assignments can also be part of this role.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducting initial screenings of investment opportunities;
• Co-writing lead sheets and Investment Memoranda
• Supporting the Due Diligence process
• Supporting portfolio companies in reporting their societal impact;
• Contributing to the preparation of deal flow & portfolio reports;
• Participating in deal sourcing events
• Support in event organization
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Ideally you:
• are a student or (close to becoming a) graduate in a relevant domain (Business management, Economics, Social sciences...);
• have a passion for impact investing and social innovation and are keen to learn about financing healthy business models that do good through their mission;
• have very strong financial and social skills. You can find your way both with numbers and with humans;
• are a high potential that wants to learn, grow and use your talents to create maximum societal impact;
• are a team player capable of working autonomously and taking initiatives;
• must be fluent in Dutch and English (C2-level, both written and oral). French is a plus
• based in the Netherlands
